I had a great day at the Cuerden Valley Fair on Sunday 20 May. The weather was fantastic and many families explored the park and took part in some great activities. I was based inside the marquee where I was able to do some live painting. This was a great talking point and I had lots of interest from potential clients.
The main eye-capturing piece of the day was the large stag. He drew lots of people in and certainly supported the sale of the smaller items on the stall.
Having this sort of stall gave me the chance to speak to other stall holders, find out their experiences and share ideas. It was also a great way to make more contacts and has given me the motivation to attend different sorts of events in the future.
